| Saturday 14th April 2012 | SEWING (Quilting) WORKSHOP | WI Hall Old Harlow, Essex | | "Split Nine Patch" − This scrappy version of the classic split nine patch pattern can use either a bundle of eight fat eighths, 5" charm packs, a layer cake or 5-6 co-ordinating Fat quarters. This is a good class for the beginner as the pattern is very forgiving. For the more experienced quilter it is a fast and easy way to make a baby quilt and can be scaled up to make larger quilts too.
